Share of fans who paid to open a message. It is the core chat quality metric next to average ticket. Low unlock at a high price does not automatically mean “go cheaper” — look at revenue per send (price × unlock).

How to gather data
Take two comparable sends (similar content, similar time of day), note price and unlock %. Plug them in. Elasticity < 1 means a price hike outruns unlock loss; > 1 means the opposite.
